An Integrated Online Experience
We've had the pleasure of working with Maine Mead Works as HoneyMaker Mead continues to grow beyond its Portland roots. As HoneyMaker's presence has grown across New England, Maine Mead Works needed an update to it's Maine-centric online presence.
The Brandsmithery Picture Show
If you were at SnowBall or another event we sponsored this holiday season, you may have noticed a table bearing a curious vintage-looking trunk emblazoned with the Might & Main insignia. If you stepped closer, you would have spied a pair of eyepieces protruding from the top of the bedecked box, and an intriguing lever would have invited you to "pull". You would have just discovered the Might & Main Traveling Brandsmithery Picture Show, and if you peered inside, you would have been treated to a cascade of images displaying our branding and design skills in action. If you pulled that enticing lever, you would have instantly received a single extra-thick Might & Main business card via a slot in the front of the box.
Why We Love Collaboration
Our last blog post featured a collaboration with The Vigorous North on Portland's first Bike Map. As you may have seen this week, we've partnered on a project with our friends at Food Coma TV. We're about to announce a book collaboration with a local photographer, and we have a big project coming up this spring with two other agencies. As someone asked on our Facebook wall this week, "Is there anyone Might & Main doesn't partner with!?"
Collaborating on the first Portland, Maine Bike Map: Might & Main + The Vigorous North
New maps on the street! Might & Main teamed up with Christian MilNeil of The Vigorous North to create the very first Portland, Maine bicycle map. Christian did a great job compiling all of the information and creating the maps, including comprehensive rider safety, bike-friendly transit services, and repair shops. Might & Main designed the cover and offered guidance on typography and the rest of the layout. It was a great collaboration, and we look forward to more in the future.
Fostering a Lasting Relationship: Safe Passage's Annual Report
Safe Passage, a non-profit based in Yarmouth, ME, provides support and education to children and families who make their meager living scavenging in and around one of the world's largest garbage dumps in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Safe Passage operates a school for younger children, sponsors older children's state education, organizes community activities, supports entrepreneurship, and provides literacy classes to men and women of all ages.
